Sharkoon SilentEagle 120mm Fan Introduction Introduction
Sharkoon is a company that has prided itself on providing many different products to computer users. They have built themselves a solid foundation in the computer industry, and everything they manufacture reflects that very important attitude! Today I have the chance to look at one of their SilentEagle 120mm Fans with a Golf Ball Texture, what a treat :)!
These particular fans seem to come in 80mm or 120mm varieties, with either 1000rpm or 2000rpm fan speeds. I'm not sure which I have received, I just know that it is 120mm, as when FedEX arrived to drop off the parcel it had not yet been released to public. Before I go too much further, here is a little rundown of my situation:
A while back I received an Antec PerformanceOne P160W Enclosure. That particular case comes with a single 120mm clear case fan (no LEDs). I happened to get 2 extra 120mm clear case fans (blue LEDs), so that extra fan wasn't needed. I had used that fan on my ThermalRight SI-120 to cool my CPU.
When I received the Sharkoon SilentEagle 120mm Fan with Golf Ball Texture, I immediately replaced the prior clear Antec fan with it, and started testing! I mostly wanted to show off the fan, as the Golf Ball Texture is a rather interesting addition to fan design, and I'm the only I know that has one ;)..
I wanted to shout out a huge Thank You to Patrick at Sharkoon for sending out this fan to review!
