Installing and Use

The XG Vortec 600 has a nice design; sleek, smooth and well put together. For most cases, it would likely just slide right in and fit like a glove. My case obviously isn't like most cases, as it was probably like 5mm too big to just slide in, so I actually had to take out the Motherboard to get it in properly. Though I tried it in another case and yep, it just slides right in. Screw it in and voila! We now have a nice looking new, powerful 600 watts of power.

There are a lot of connectors for different devices. 8 standard legacy 4-pin molex connectors, 2 floppy drive connectors, two SATA connectors, and one PCI Express power connector, as well as the 20+4 pin connector for the motherboard. All of these cables are sleeved in UV reactive red latex. The switch on the PSU was also easy to find in the dark, as it glowed as well as the fans.

For ease of use, and nice installation this PSU is definitely one of my favorites. Of course, everyone knows I like things that on top of being functional are very aesthetically pleasing.
