Did you like Iron Man?
Yes, it totally rocked!
Yes, although I though it could have been better.
Meh, it was just another comic book movie.
No, because they got the suit all wrong!
No, I don't like special effects movies.
I haven't seen it yet.
I don't plan on seeing it.

Thailand Display Flexible Keyboard
Introduction

Introduction

One of the most necessary pieces of computer equipment you absolutely must have does not reside inside your computer's case. Without this part, you cannot do even the most basic tasks on your computer. In fact, many computers will refuse to start if this piece of equipment is not connected. Which piece of equipment is this vitally important, yet not housed inside your computer's case? The piece of equipment I am refering to is your keyboard.

Now, how many of you have ever spilled anything on your keyboard? OK, I see an awful lot of hands going up and I'm not surprised. In fact, I don't know anyone that uses a computer on a regular basis that has NOT spilled something on their keyboard at one time or another. I also know plenty of people that have ruined their keyboards by spilling drinks of all kinds onto them. Wouldn't it be great if there were a keyboard out there that you couldn't kill by spilling a drink on it or even dropping it? Well, there is, the Flexible Keyboard from Thailand Display! Before we get too far along, I'd like to thank Martien of Thailand Display for the samples used in this review.

Let's Look at the Keyboards

The Flexible Keyboard comes in two sizes, the 109 key version you're familiar with that has the regular letters and numbers, arrow keys, function keys, 10-key pad, etc. on it. It is also available in a miniature 85-key version that foregoes the 10-key pad and some of the other keys, as well as streamliining the key layout to take up as little room as possible.

As you can see, these keyboards are quite flat. The big blocky things you see the cord coming out from are where the brains of the keyboard lie. While the rest of the keyboard is very difficult to damage, these blocks, while very sturdy in their own right, would have to be considered the 'Achilles Heel' of the Flexible Keyboard.
