Albatron PC6600GT Video Card
Conclusion

The Albatron 6600 GT doesn't look special or strange and out of the ordinary at all.  No huge fans and heatsinks. It has a low profile and a quiet fan. I tell you, the fan makes a difference. I was able to overclock to 535MHz Core and 1100 MHz Memory with no problems. I think an upgraded HSF would be a a descent upgrade that would allow for even higher clock speeds. Also, with this card, you do get the tuner adaptor, which is very nice if you have a HD TV. I don't, I have a crappy Mitsubishi. So I won't bore you with bad screen shots of that. The other thing I'll note is it is SLI ready for anyone with a SLI rig.

When all is said and done, I think the Albatron 6600 GT is a great mainstream card. I would have liked NVIDIA to support OpenGL 2.0 with the 6xxx series, like ATi has done with the X8xxXL cards. When it comes to performance, the PC6600GT is great. This card is one of the best mainstream cards on the market, and for $200, it's priced to sell.

Retail Price: $199.99

Newegg Price: $185.00
