Albatron PC6600GT Video Card
Technicial Specs

Let's look at the card

Albatron's PC6600GT might be based on the reference design, but Albatron didn't stop there. Albatron added a pretty substantial copper heatink and some copper RAM sinks to make sure that your gaming does not get interrupted by any heat related issues!

Albatron did not put any memory on the back of the PC6600GT, so you shouldn't have any trouble using an oversized heatsink on your Northbridge or nForce 4 chipset. LCD owners will be happy to note that there is a DVI connector as well as the SVGA one. There is also an S-video out connector, for those of you that like to hook your PC up to the television set.

6600 GT Specifications

Here are the 6600 GT's technical specs, straight from NVIDIA's website.

Transistors = 146 Million

Manufacturing Process = 0.11 Micron

Core Clock Speed = 500MHz (Processor Speed)

Pipelines = 8 (More Pipelines = more FPS)

Vertex Pipelines = 4 (Freeway to move information)

Peak Pixel Fill Rate = 4Gigatexels/Second

Memory Interfae = 128-bit 128MB GDDR3

Memory Clock = 1000MHz (Memory Speed)

Peak Bandwidth = 16GB/Sec

Now, as far as spces go, we can easily compare this to the ATi X700, which has similiar settings, but comes with 256MB of RAM. With the technical stuff out there, how does the 6600 GT fare in games? Lets take a look at a few...
