Case lighting has been around for a while now. Like most case modding things, it started as something you had to build yourself and has become mainstream over time. You can now find case modding products in Best Buy and CompUSA stores, although I don't recommend going to either one to get case mod supplies for your PC. ;-)
Today I'll be looking at Sunbeam's Lightbus. This controller can not only handle four different lighting products in much the same manner as a fan controller works with fans, it also has the ability to put on a variety of light shows! I'll tested the Lightbus out in conjunction with some of Sunbeam's other lighting products and accessories. My thanks go out to Curtis and Keven of Sunbeam Technology for providing the samples used in this review.
These are the packages that the various products come in. This way, you'll recognize them when you see them in the store or on the Web. The Lightbus is in the picture on the left. The LED Profector, Night Magic, and LED Fan are shown in the center picture. In the picture on the right we see the Lazer LED, red and blue cold cathodes, and the Minibaybus. Not shown is a picture of the Molex Lights, which I also threw into the case to liven things up.
