Did you like Iron Man?
Yes, it totally rocked!
Yes, although I though it could have been better.
Meh, it was just another comic book movie.
No, because they got the suit all wrong!
No, I don't like special effects movies.
I haven't seen it yet.
I don't plan on seeing it.

Mutant Mods Acrylic Mid Tower ATX Case
Conclusion

Conclusion

So, what did I think of this Mutant Mods acrylic case? Well, it has a definite plus for visual impact! My wife thinks it is just the niftiest thing she's ever seen. With the lights off in the room and the case lighting turned on, it certainly gets your attention! Mutant Mods also provided all of the case lighting and most of the fans you see in the pictures below.

This being the first acrylic case I've ever worked with I'd have to say I'm pleased with the results. There isn't a lot of airflow through this case, so I wouldn't recommend doing a lot of overclocking with it using air cooling. If you have a compact water cooling setup with some UV dye or UV reactive tubing, it would look really good in this case! Overall, I'm very pleased with this acrylic case and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a way to showcase their system.

While the suggested price of $165 is really high, this case can be found for much less than that on line. It's still a bit pricey, even at $103ish. It is available at CompUSA, but a check of their website showed a price of over $190! If CompUSA's executives wonder why enthusiasts don't shop at their stores, this is a big part of the reason. That and a selection that pretty much bites.
