XG sent us one of their new power supplies, the Vigor 500. Looking at the features, this is one sweet power supply. It has a long list of features, so I'll get to that part a bit later.
But first let's take a look at the power supply. I mean, really, isn't a power supply just that? How can someone make it better? Ok, SATA… LED's… But other than modding and updates, is that it? The answer comes from something that we overclockers know very well. The difference between a good PS and a GREAT PS is if it performs well under load and OCing. Are the voltages constant around the 3.3v line and what about the Core and Memory Voltages? These are so very important… So, let's take a look.
