Let's take a look at the outside of the case, since that's what most people will see when you set this bad boy up at a LAN. While the accent color of this case is red, CasEdge offers several other colors to choose from, as well. Notice how the ports in the front are in what looks like the mouth of the Minotaur. I thought this was a pretty clever design, myself. The case itself is made out of steel, so it isn't exactly light, but it is quite sturdy.
Next we have a look at the windowed side of the case. Notice how the shadows show that the Minotaur's horn actually protrudes from the front bezel a bit. Also notice what appears to be a clear fan grill about where the CPU will be on an ATX motherboard. No, there isn't a fan there, but there is a reason for the grill, as we'll see shortly.
Here's a look at the front of the case that also shows the non-windowed side. This shot was just to let you see that the same design pattern is used on both sides of the case. One thing about this side of the case, it is riveted on. That's right, if you want to take it off for any reason you'll have to cut the rivets and then figure out your own way to reattach it to the case again. Personally, I think they should have used screws, but they didn't ask me what I thought.
To finish our tour of the outside of the Diabolic Minotaur, we have a look at the back of the case. The first thing I noticed was the size of the exhaust fan grill on the back of this beast. That is a 120mm fan, which means that it shouldn't have any trouble moving a fairly large amount of air from inside the case to outside the case. The second thing I noticed was the power supply. While it is kind of hard to see in this shot, the power supply comes with a socket you can use to plug in another electric device, not that I would recommend this even with the 400 watt power supply that came with the review sample. The other thing I noticed about the power supply was the lack of a switch to turn it on and off. That means you have to unplug the PSU every time you want to be sure you've disconnected your power from your PC. While you should always unplug the PSU when working on your rig, I would rather have seen a switching power supply here.
