Did you like Iron Man?
Yes, it totally rocked!
Yes, although I though it could have been better.
Meh, it was just another comic book movie.
No, because they got the suit all wrong!
No, I don't like special effects movies.
I haven't seen it yet.
I don't plan on seeing it.

ATi Radeon 9600 XT 128 MB Video Card
Overview & Specifications

Note: We made a typo in this review when referring to this video card as the 256MB Version.  Sorry for the
inconvenience.  Again, this card is 128MB, not 256MB.

As you can see here, the 9600 XT varies only slightly from the 9600 Pro.  With an added 100 MHz Core Speed, and an optional 128 MB more RAM, the 9600 XT makes even the 9600 Pro still a video card to consider.

  9600 Pro 9600 XT
Core Codename   RV350 RV360
Core Speed   400 MHz 500 MHz
Memory Speed   300 MHz DDR 300 MHz DDR
Memory   128MB 128MB & 256 MB
Pipelines   4 4

Confused on what the real difference between them is besides the core clock speed?  Well, for one, the Low k 0.13 micron process lowers the required voltage and allows ATi to run the card at higher clock speeds.  A definite plus as we’ve gained 100 MHz over the Core Speed, however, the Memory Speed remains the same.  We would have preferred to see both increased to improve overall performance, but you can always overclock.
