The Radeon 9600 XT is ATi’s new mid-ranged video card targeted to the average Joe that doesn’t want to spend $500 on the Radeon 9800 XT so he can just play games at 300 frames per second (we don’t understand why he wouldn’t want to do that!).With their new process at ATi they found ways to improve their flagship, as well as the 9600 Pro and dubbed them the XT’s.Does the Radeon 9600 XT have enough power to keep you going over the coming months and with new games such as Half-Life 2 and Doom 3?
